Hey, guys! Long time, no...post?
Well, after coming back from New York, I'm now trying to get into the swing of things again. Thank you again, Jocey, for manning the fort while I was gone! Knew I could 'count on you'!
Speaking of swing, gotta love Jocey's in that last panel. Tree branches are the new frying pans.
Sorry again for this being a few minutes late. I'm also juggling a good amount of birthday stuff, but as of right now, I'm just glad the page is done and it is...pretty violent O.o Wonder what's gonna happen in the next page...

More desert news
Yo-o
Jocey here bringing you some crazy news! More desert sketches for everyone woo!!! I compiled some of the doodles into a page of doodles! We get to see three other possible characters!

There are three coyote sketches (the same gal) and she might be the possible villain in the story
The bird looking thing is supposed to be a roadrunner, and he's the sheriff (get it coyote and roadrunner). He also might be a pseudo villain as well. The cobra on the bottom is going to be an oracle, since snakes don't have arms I thought it would be the price of beings able to see into the future. So most snakes (if Genie is okay with this idea) have the ability to see, varying by snake. Our cobra friend here can see very well, that's why she is an oracle.

I still hafta work out the kinks and stuff of the story, mainly coming up with a good story haha...I asked all kinds of questions to Genie today so I can get some world building in!
And Genie has returned from the New York! WOOO!! She's still getting everything sorted and stuff as well as working on a few bday gifts for friends that are coming up (one of them is Tay). So comics should resume next week!

Deserts and banishments
Yo-o!
Jocey is here to pop in and say hi! Genie is returning from her adventures in New York and I just got through my first week of school! WOO! I wanna say hi to y'all and I wanna start by posting one of the new pages from the new website: Jgtcomics.webcomic.ws

Remember this page? It's page three of chapter 1! And it's in color! I wanna point that minion that was poofed away! I've always wanted to know what happened to him and what became of him and after having an idea power session with Genie I was like this guy is skunk and he landed in a desert!
Genie was like he says "This stinks!" and I was like he wanders in the desert for days and then has a revelation about what he's been doing with his life and thus Kai was born.
This is Kai! And his story will be a sister story to JGT! I'm still working out the kinks in the story (as well as working on my own story), but here is what he looks like! I wanted him to have two different colored eyes cause he looks soo cool!!!!
So be on the lookout for a new page on Thursday!

A Little Late But Forever Grateful
Hey, everyone! Genie here with Page 37!!! Sorry about being 20 minutes late. I tried! XD Gotta love action scenes (I'm a beginner with them so thanks for your patience, hehe).
Speaking of thanks, I just wanted to thank JOCEY for that totally awesome birthday card! X3 I am forever grateful to have such a hyper, instigating, courageous, supportive, creative, and just SHMEH-YOU-ARE-JUST-AWESOME-friend like you :)
Jocey will also be your comic-host for the remainder of the week, for I will be temporarily transported...to a strange Land called NYC. And so, please expect Page 38 to be posted on Thursday instead of Monday next week, and please expect Jocey to pop in and check on you all :D

HAPPPY BIRTHDAY!! GENIE!!
Yo-o!!
It's a little late (since I've been working on the card), but today is Genie's birthday :)
That's right, Creator is 21 years old. She can finally be a magical girl ;)
Well, I do have a few things to say to Genie on this special day.
I think it's best to start on those cold mornings at Oak Valley. When you first moved here. And at that table where we first developed our stories. That's right, I'm bringing them up. Magimore? I think that was the title of your story, about three girls and a magical kingdom. And I can't leave out my story, the Golden Heart series. We had so many covers planned, but no story. I don't think our stories ever made it to book two. And then all those doodles of our friends. And that guy that wanted shorts but you refused to draw him in shorts so you put in jeans and then in shorts and then back in jeans when he wasn't looking. And then eighth grade and those crazy squirrel-ly years, up till the mornings of RBHS.
Our walks to the lockers and then the sing-song trips all the way to Barnes and Nobles. And then that fateful morning where you immortalized Jocey, Genie and Taylor. Where it started off with a doodle of me turning into a little squirrel. And then I remember the one where I wanted to save a Skittle, or the one where I had to rescue you guys and I found an axe. And then the Scribbles, and our discussions for the future of JGT. Haha, I really wanna bring up what we talked about, but I can't discuss spoilers haha. And then when we got back from college. And we jus talked and had power discussions about JGT, Great Beings, Pages, and just about everything. I also can't forget to bring up the little comics we wrote where Maia, Jamie and Lyall met Jocey, Taylor, Genie, and jus about everyone in JGT. OH!! I also can't forget your crazy ESP moments haha. There are so many memories, so many and none that I want to forget. And I know that there will be even more memories, no matter how far we travel. We'll always come back and we'll share our crazy ideas and our crazy adventures.
So today is to you, and if I could drink I would drink to you (I'm no longer 21 in Arizona because I have a vertical license). I raise my imaginary margarita cup to you and to the many years that will follow our friendship. All I'm imagining in my head right now is our drunk conversation if we ever got drunk. Crazy crazy things would happen haha.
