Birthday Post Part 2!

And here is the second part!

Alright, so remember that weird coincidental situation about JGT's birthdays? Each birthday is equally spread out (21 days apart!), which actually sounds like a real prophecy, haha.

So, because of this, we are going to do something special this year.

Earlier this year, I posted up a 'Playlist' tab that also included the lyrics/basic music for the JGT theme, Count on Me.

But...I bet you didn't know that there was an extended, full-length song version!

Yep, over a year ago, I wrote the full version of JGT, which consists of 3 verses, one from each squirrel's point of view.

And so, for this birthday prophecy cycle, we will slowly reveal to you all the lyrics for Count on Me! Starting with Jocelyn's verse!

And here it is:

Look at the moon and see how bright it shines

It looks like a story is starting if you read between the lines

I know you’re scared

But have no fear

Because I’ll always

Be near

Before we go, I just want to make it clear…

That for you, I will be here…

Just count on me

And you will see

Everything will be all right

Even though the night may be dark

I’ll show you the light

That’s the job of the moon and stars

They’re there for you wherever you are

So come on down, come with me

You will see

You can count on me!

Verse 2 will be revealed in 21 days!

Happy Birthday, Jocey! Never change, and I hope all your birthday wishes come true (that's my job; I'm a Genie)! :D

And a Happy Happy Birthday to...

JOCEY!!!

In celebration of the birth of this hyper yet totally awesome squirrel/girl, here is a redrawn pic of a scene from The Masquerade (which has also turned 1 year old today)!
This was a scene requested by Jocey a while ago. When the style of JGT changed to colored, she'd wanted to see this scene (when Jag is staring at her for the first time in her masque get up ^^) in color, especially the dress.
Jocey doesn't know about this...SURPRISE PICTURE FOR JOCEY!

From,
Genie :3

Page 9: DONE

Huzzah! The complicated Page 9 is completed and uploaded! I am so sorry that it took so long; I hope it looks alright as well ^o^ I'm experimenting with new paneling techniques so thank you for being so patient. And yaaaay it is up on Friday; I kept my promise!
I hope you enjoy! And be sure to check out the site later this week for more surprises and pages!

Until then, have a great one!

Genie and JGT ^^

JGT Flashback: Original Masquerade Cover!

Oh, look at all that shame...if you can. You can probably barely see this haha. Well, tis a flashback from 16 year old  me! BTW...hehehe hello random little Jag; I wished I cared more to include you more properly in this episode in which you play a big role :<

Page 9....Why You So Complicated??

Hey, guys! Genie here ^^
I've been caught up with my writing project, but huzzah, I know how to multitask! I've been working on the comic, too! Unfortunately, I'm experimenting a little bit with page 9, and it's turning out to be a taaad bit more complicated than I expected. There's a lot more going on in it too, so thank you all so much for bearing with me, hehe.
I think once this page is done, it'll be easier for me to follow up on the next pages.
Expect page 9 to hop in by Friday! I am determined!

Thanks again for your patience. I appreciate it very, very much!

Until then,
Genie (and page 9)

Why Haven't We Shown Up??

Lila: Hey, that's not fair, when are we gonna show up in the new comics?
Ace: When the author decides to care about us...

Aww, I love you guys! I really do! You guys just have a later scene, that's all ^^
Thank you guys (and Ace and Lila) for being so patient with me... I promise, I'm gonna try do a major story update and upload about 2-3 new pages by next week. Ace and Lila can keep you company until then :D
Be on the look out for them and other stuff ahead!

Until then,
Genie
