Birthday Post Part 2!

And here is the second part!

Alright, so remember that weird coincidental situation about JGT's birthdays? Each birthday is equally spread out (21 days apart!), which actually sounds like a real prophecy, haha.

So, because of this, we are going to do something special this year.

Earlier this year, I posted up a 'Playlist' tab that also included the lyrics/basic music for the JGT theme, Count on Me.

But...I bet you didn't know that there was an extended, full-length song version!

Yep, over a year ago, I wrote the full version of JGT, which consists of 3 verses, one from each squirrel's point of view.

And so, for this birthday prophecy cycle, we will slowly reveal to you all the lyrics for Count on Me! Starting with Jocelyn's verse!

And here it is:

In celebration of the birth of this hyper yet totally awesome squirrel/girl, here is a redrawn pic of a scene from The Masquerade (which has also turned 1 year old today)!
This was a scene requested by Jocey a while ago. When the style of JGT changed to colored, she'd wanted to see this scene (when Jag is staring at her for the first time in her masque get up ^^) in color, especially the dress.

Page 9....Why You So Complicated??

Hey, guys! Genie here ^^
I've been caught up with my writing project, but huzzah, I know how to multitask! I've been working on the comic, too! Unfortunately, I'm experimenting a little bit with page 9, and it's turning out to be a taaad bit more complicated than I expected. There's a lot more going on in it too, so thank you all so much for bearing with me, hehe.
I think once this page is done, it'll be easier for me to follow up on the next pages.
Expect page 9 to hop in by Friday! I am determined!

Sneak Peek at Project #2!

Hey, everyone!
Yesterday, you got to see a sneak peek of Jocey's little project involving PIRATES! :D

Today, I would like to share with you a sneak peek of a story I'm working on ^^

It's called CAST.

For the sake of my college major, I wanted to give myself a writing project, and since JGT has probably become a permanent part of me, it has helped me come up with the story of CAST.

So, in a way, JGT and CAST are step-sisters X3

But yeah, I won't yet tell you exactly what it's about just yet, but I will share with you an old concept sheet of one of the characters, modeled by Harrison Morrison (the original inspiration for the character as well.

***the costumes in this story are....different....you will see in due time ^^

Tis the Jocey Squirrel!! HUZZAH  I AM STILL HERE!!! I was in Mexico for a few weeks, with limited internet so sorry for the no show and near disappearance! BUT I HAVE RETURNED AND I COME BEARING GIFTS!!!! For a while now I have been coming up with my own story, and I've been trying to work on it, I won't reveal what my story is but I shall give you a hint:

It's about....PIRATES!!!!

That shall be the only hint you get for now, but I shall reveal more as time passes by! ALSO I HAVE RETURNED!! ARE YOU ALL REJOICING???

I shall try to post a bit more, but i am without a scanner so bear with me!! But for today I has a picture:

WE ARE PIRATES!! Imagine this, i am hitting Taylor with my staff, thus she is looking cross and Genie is being Genie and nagging me to calm down and not hit Tay.

Happy Happy Birthday to...

FLITWICK!

Today, you are yet another year older, Mr. Sarcastic Hummingbird!

(Funny story about choosing this guy's birthday. I chose July 9th because there are 7 letters in the word 'humming', thus the 7th month of the year, and then I realized that Flitwick is the relative 'Platform 9 &3/4' to the Land, you know, with all of his transporting awesomeness. And so, July 9th was born!

In celebration of this little guy, Jocey drew a lil b-day pic for him...

Haha, Flitwick could be a little more enthusiastic about his birthday treat...well, you can't change a hummingbird's attitude, or accent ;D Sir Aldric makes a guest appearance here as well, hehe ^o^ Thanks, Jocey, for the pic!

**On a similar note, this day coincidentally happens to be the birthday of another friend of mine...Matt Tran, author of Fires of the Sky! Sorry I'm a day late!

Ello! Genie here ^^
I know I said that I'd update on Sunday-Monday, and I am really sorry I'm a day late ^o^"" I tried my best to get two pages done by then, but alas I needed more time...and wifi, for that matter.

But huzzah! Pages 6 and 7 of Episode 9 are here! Human Jocey is finally back, and in color! How are Harry, Rudy, and especially Jag, going to handle this plan of theirs?
