JGT OZ Concept Art: Beautiful Wickedness

Hey, guys!

So, in the midst of working on college work and comic pages, I managed to whip up another concept art piece for OZ!

And this one features a couple of the most powerful girlies in OZ...

Tada! Tis Taylor as Glinda the Good and Lila as the Wicked Witch of the West!

This was drawn mainly to experiment more with the characters' color schemes, and also to show you guys the designs for them! I tried to stay true to the Munchkin blue for Glinda's dress (and I just had to add a little pink from the dress in the 1939 movie). For West's dress, I tried to make it look like a dying flower petal...I'm not sure if I did that vision justice. Oh well, we shall see what becomes of it in future art! These designs/schemes are subject to change, but hey, that's what concept art is for!

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the pic! (By the way, yes, I did listen to the Wicked soundtrack while working on this, hahaha XD)

By the way, again! Thank you so much for making that adorably awesome page, Jocey!! I applaud you; it is fantastic! I can't wait to see what happens next :D

Let's Travel~Page 1

Yo-o! So I'm a fan of jus writing below the page/chapter that I post (no reason, I'm jus weird)...So here is our wonderful page of let's travel! I actually had a hard time cause I didn't know what Mt. Hill looked like inside, at first I did a cave like design until I worked up the courage to ask Genie what Mt. Hill looked like ahaha. After Genie told me I felt so relieved (cause GIMP quit on me and I lost my 'cave' design and I really did not not feel like redoing it again).

Okay, so this is the page. The first Genie panel is okay, I don't like the way I shaded her face, but c'est la vie, I'm satisfied with everything else so I win! As we can see, Harry blew something up in the last panel ^-^. I hope you all enjoy my little side story and be on the look out for the next page (of Big Magic or Let's Travel). This adventure shall be lotsa fun!

Hey, guys! Genie here!

So, I got little pieces of good news!

One, page 25 is in the works! So thank you so much for being so patient!

Two, the first draft of the OZ script is DONE! Phew… It’s a long script, guys. It kinda scares me, but we’ll see how long it is once I’m done editing it!

Three, to celebrate the completion of the OZ script, and because I really needed practice, I have done a quick doodle of Dorothy-Genie!

Here it is!

After all of my technical difficulties, I need to get all of my color schemes and coloring habits back. So, consider this the first of many random doodles, haha.

And beware…for this eppie, the laws of colors and such will be broken. I repeat, they will be broken big time (well, I kind of do that already, don’t I? XD)

The caption, by the way, is relevant. Here’s a hint: since it’s OZ, there’s gotta be music, right? ;)

I'm ALIVE!!!

Hey, guys! Long time no...post?

Anywho! I am alive! And so is my computer! Huzzah!

Unfortunately, in the process of reviving my computer, I lost all of my data...well, most of it. A few short stories and scripts were saved.

This really hit me hard, cuz I lost a ton of JGT stuff.

So, please continue to be patient with me as I recollect all of the JGT stuff that is miraculously saved on this website!

And since I have finished finals and re-downloaded all of my artsy programs, I am now able to continue page-making!

So look out for Page 25 in another week!

Also, the SCRIPT for the next JGT episode is in the works. Since Big Magic is slowly wrapped up, I gotta start working on the next episode. And I think you know what the episode is... (hint: it's awesome...oz-some ...*cough cough*)

Again, thank you guys so much for your awesomeness and patience, and thank you, Jocey, for manning the website while I took care of stuff on my side. I appreciate it so, so much, and I can't wait to learn more about this 'Let's Travel' story :D Excitement!!!

It was a Secret

Yo-o!

Jocey here (and Genie doesn't know I posted this soo surprise GENIE!!) and I have finished the revealing factor of what I'll be working on when Genie needs breaks (like right now). It's going to be a silly non-canon story that I'll be writing for you guys. Since you all know everyone is in San Diego part of the story is going to take place there because they aren't visiting any of the tourist places that San Diego is home to! Beaches, Old Town, the whole shebang! The starting location for this story is meant to happen at any time (I'm making this random mainly because it's meant to be non-canon), it could be before or even after Big Magic. I'm going to keep spoilers out of the picture, so I guess you can say this is going to be a fanstory haha. So here is the cover for it:

Well, be on the look out for more. Oh xeah! Genie's laptop has been fixed, but Genie still has finals coming up, so I'll be responsible for the website! Count on me!

I have some important news!

So this mini comic I drew is my first ever color comic, and I really like how it came out! I hope you guys did too. (I realize that I made Jocey darker than usual, but I like how she looks). So be on the lookout for Jocey-posts! I'll see you all soon!

P.S. I know I kind of wrote that Genie's computer died, and I realize that is very vague. So for those are really curious, Genie's harddrive (hard drive?) failed. So her computer really can't be used right now. On Sat her computer will be looked at! So it won't be too long.

Hey, everyone!

Well, as you can see, page 24 is now finished!

Sorry it's a couple of days late. I guess since I finished page 23 on a Tuesday, it took me another whole week to do the next page ^^" But nonetheless, it is done!

And yes, I owe an apology to poor Ace and his poor butt. Tis a rare thing for him to lose his cool. So, kudos to Flitwick for that accomplishment!

Anywho, just to let you know, I am nearing the end of my school quarter, so I MIGHT not have page 25 done on time. I mean, I could rush and get it done, but I wanna do my best on each page. So in the meantime, I may be posting up more Extras, and then in a week or two, page 25 will be up!
