Behind the Scenes: Original Big Magic (Part 3) Storyboard Panels

Hey, guys! Genie here.

As I slowly get through Midterms Season, I want to show you a few things inside the JGT 'vault' (or, my cluttered apartment desk...but vault sounds cooler so I'm gonna go with that).

This time, since the first 3 pages are out, I thought it would be appropriate to share with you the Original Storyboard Panels of Big Magic (Part 3)!

As you can see, this was drawn in the original Storyboard style, and I apparently was just about to draw Jag's body when I switched to colored-comics...Sorry, Jag. Because of me, you are merely a floating head in the last panel.

I highly doubt that this will be the last major change in JGT's style. But that is up for the future to show ^o^

Hey, everyone! I hope you all have had a good week so far.
I just wanted to let you know that something has been added under the Playlists Tab...

It's an instrumental recording of the JGT theme song, 'Count on Me'!

Please note though that this is a very simple composition. I honestly haven't taken piano lessons since I was, what, 8? Also, this song has been recorded via GarageBand. That's right. Too techno for a real piano, haha!

Despite that, as my cheeks turn an embarrassing shade of red, I would like to share with you the beginning of the composing of JGT's theme. Perhaps in the future, you will hear a sung-version of it...perhaps. We shall see what the future holds, hehe.

Anyway, I do hope you check it out and enjoy!

I wanted to get it done asap because I have a few tests coming up in the next week so I might not be able to update with pages at that time. So with that in mind, I decided to draw up Page 3 already for you guys to enjoy while I study. (Don't worry, more pages are still on the way.)

ALLO, ITS THE UPDATE YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!

Alllo tout le monde!!!!

Tis Jocey squirrel!! The one and only!! I've come to tell you that everything will be okay! Genie's been busy with school cause school is school and she has tons of reading and soon the new page will be up. Also! The new style also needs time, but you'll be getting more pages faster without waiting for the big big issue which will probably take longer in the long run...^-^ and you get pretty pages that are colorful!!

Oh xeah, tis a surprise from me and not even Genie knew that I was drawing something ^-^

This is titled 'The Girls of JGT' cause Lila is also one of the girls who is part of the comic, I made us also wear new dresses and i really wanted to draw hats as well. Ta-da!! The Girls of JGT made yours truly!

Big Magic, Homework, and Surprises, Oh my!

Hey, everyone! Genie here.
I hope you all are doing well as the week goes by. I myself have been caught up in a deep pile of homework for my classes, which is why Page 2 of Eppie 9 hasn't come out yet.
I sincerely apologize for this little 'episode hiatus' phase...My double major isn't giving me a lot of breathing room nowadays, but I can tell you that the progress of Page 2 has started already, and there is no way I am giving up on it.
I believe that my schoolwork load will lighten by mid-next week or so, and then I shall hit the paper/tablet with Page 2.

In other news...
I have a few JGT-related projects that I am currently working on that I cannot wait to uncover for you guys. I can tell you that one of them may be a sort of 'Side-storyline' kind of project. This side of JGT looks very different, but the characters and the heart of the story are still very much there :) I can't wait to see how that turns out.

Well, again, I hope you are all doing well, and sorry for this hiatus, but I promise you that I will get Page 2 done as soon as possible! And more little posts should be popping out throughout the week as usual!
