JGT Episode 1: COVER

Hey, guys! Genie here with a lil treat!

I am currently adding 'draw covers for the coverless-episodes' to my summer schedule. And here is the first result!

In Episode 1: Three Squirrels and a Prophecy, best friends Jocey, Genie, and Taylor go to an average midnight premiere, but when the magic wind and sparkly-dust-things and a mysterious hummingbird fly into the scene, the three girls get transformed into...squirrels?

They are then whisked away to a Land filled with hooded bad guys, evil master dudes, and a lot of trees. Oh, and a prophecy. There's that, too.


I hope you guys enjoy the cover! It was fun to experiment with ^o^

Let's Do This...

Hey, guys! Genie here!

Well, I have finished the school year, I have received my grades, and I have let out a huge sigh of relief. Now, on with summer!

This particular summer is going to be very busy for me. I have made certain goals for myself in regards to comic pages and extras and...other things ;)

Though it all does tend to intimidate me a little bit, I am determined to get as much done as I can. Especially with the Big Magic climax just around the corner. But, I repeat, I AM DETERMINED!

And to express that statement, here is a custom sketch of squirrel Genie:

So guys, grab your lunar staffs and magic quills and wands...this is gonna be an awesome ride!

Gonna kickstart this summer with Page 29 of Eppie 9, which should be done either Sunday or Monday.

I've got a secret

HEY EVERYBODY!

Jocey here! First off I want to wish all the lovely Father's out there a Happy Father's Day! All the dad's in the world work so hard for us and I just want to say thanks! There's also no better dad out their than mine and the ones I've let into my heart.

Secondly, the next page is in the works, but that's not my secret.
Something is coming, something...something bigger than Big Magic! Me and Genie have a little surprise in the works for you all, well not a little surprise a BIG surprise, one you all will be surprised to see ;)

Well, that's about all I've got to say! This summer is gonna bring some awesome things!

JGT "OZ" Character Sheet: Harrison Morrison

Hey, guys!

Since finals are coming up, the next page might take longer to finish.

BUT, in the meantime, I have some more little extras for you!

And for today, I (finally) give you another "JGT in OZ" chara sheet!

Ta-da! Say hello to the 'Tin Man' of JGT!

In this rendition, his name is T.I.N. And instead of being just a rusty tin woodsman, he's a rusty Tunnel-of-Love animatronic, who wants nothing more than a heart so he can find out what love really is...

T.I.N.'s design was probably THE hardest. As you can see, I went through many different hats and coats and styles. At one point, he looked like a hotel bellhop. That would've been an interesting twist.

But his identity as a Tunnel-of-Love dude came from the final design I did for him...a snazzy top hat-and-cane kind of look ^o^

So all of those sketchbook pages of robot-raccoon doodles have now paid off...I finally have my Tin Man :D
