I present to you PAGE 26! Finally, I know, hehe.
I'm sorry it took so long. Deciding how to approach it took me a while.
This scene in the original comic was very simple and a bit....randomish. I guess cuz it's supposed to be a montage.
For the remastered page, however, I knew I wanted to make it different.
But in the end...not much changed. I ended up keeping the simplicity that the old version owned. All I really did was add a bit more color, hehehe.
I guess that's the magical thing about small, memorable moments, right? The simplicity, and the colorfulness :)

What Does "Jag" Really Mean?
The other day, Jocey discovered that there were several meanings to the word, "Jag"....

Progress has been spotted....
Hey, guys!
Just letting you know, the student life has been keeping me from pencils and paper for the last week or so. Therefore, I'm sorry for the mini hiatuses during the week. Once this week clears up, I should have more free time :D
On a happy note, I do have a couple of small JGT artsy projects in the works! And here's a sneak peek for two of them!

Huzzah for more Tin! And he's not alone, so be sure to look out for this pic when I finish it!

This is my desk, and it is covered with the 'blue'prints for Page 26!
I told you this page required a lot more planning than usual, hehe.
The actual page is being drawn at the moment, but I didn't want to show you guys it just yet ;) Like I said before, the layout for this page is particularly different than the rest of the pages. That's partly why it's been in the works for a while now.
But don't worry! I got 6 more panels to draw! It will be finished, and it will be awesome!!! I hope ^o^"
Anywho, I hope you guys are doing alright with whatever life is throwing your way! If you're troubled by anything, just say, "I am awesome, and I got this," and you shall most likely become a self-fulfilled prophecy :D Trust me, I'm a psych major XD

JGT in OZ: Technicolor
Hey, guys!
You're probably wondering why I'm taking so long with the next Big Magic page. This next page is supposed to have a different layout than the rest of the comic, so I'm having a hard time with the layout, spacing, and all that jazz. It's a fun page, don't get me wrong. It's just a challenge. But thank you so much, again, for being so patient, and I hope the page turns out awesome! ^o^
So, as I get my stuff together for the next page, I am living off of more OZ inspiration, mostly due to a Wizard of Oz/L. Frank Baum orchestra concert that I recently went to. Because of that, this came to be...
I wanted to sketch, but I also wanted to color....and this is how I satisfied myself hehehe.
Of course, this is a shoutout to the Technicolor transformation of the 1939 MGM movie, how the sepia of Kansas was literally splashed by every color imaginable just with the opening of the door. So yeah, I was trying to aim for that, haha.
(And yes, that's a tent, not a house X3)
Again, I hope you enjoy, and pages and sketches should be coming your way soon!

'JGT in OZ' Sample Page: "Finding Out"
Hey, guys! Genie here.
Well, as I work on page 26 (I think that's the page I'm on...haha that's what having a lot of projects does to me...), I managed to whip up an experiment I've been wanting to whip up for a while...

This is a selected scene from the early script! I wanted to use a simple scene because I didn't want to give away too, too much, hehe.
As you can see, this page features the Dorothy and Scarecrow of 'JGT in OZ'. Of course, you will find out more about their little story arcs once the real comic gets going after Big Magic.
Overall, I wanted to just experiment with this page. I experimented with coloring, dialogue bubble-making, layout (definitely layout), etc. It took a good amount of time to make, the key word being 'good', because I honestly had a lot of fun making it. I hope it shows, hehehe.
Anywho, thank you for checking this out! And please look out for more OZ and Big Magic stuff! They are on the way!

Happy Birthday, Rudy: "A Salute to the Sky"
If you guys have seen the Character Page, you know that today is also the birthday of a certain someone...

I was about to make my April Fool's joke be a birthday pic for Rudy, but I knew that today, he deserved something special and not silly.
This pic is called, "Salute to the Sky," and it's supposed to portray Rudy and his relationship with his late dad, the original Rudy. The comic has kind of talked about this, but future pages will cover it in more detail.
And yeah, I got a liiiiittle emotional when I did this. I'm a military brat as well, so it's safe to say that Rudy holds a little piece of me inside him, hehe.
In the end though, I just wanted this pic to celebrate how strong this lil dude is. Not even a picture can capture that, but I tried.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy Page 25 as well as "Salute to the Sky"!

That was my April Fools attempt...I'm not sure if I succeeded or not. But in the end, the only thing that matters is that PAGE 25 IS DONE!
Phew, after all of those computer issues I went through, Page 25 is done, and I got my comic page-groove back! Huzzah!
Again, I can't thank and applaud you guys enough for your patience and overall awesomeness. I'm sorry things have been slow recently. I'm still adjusting to my 'new' computer, but I'm just glad that I now have all of my materials for page-making back!
Also, tune in in about...5 minutes....because another treat is headed your way! (This is not another April Fool's joke, I swear XD)
